Myles Duckworth

“I’m passionate about helping people and organisations achieve their potential. I bring empathy, calm and clarity and have built a reputation for helping people cut to the heart of the matter and find practical and sustainable solutions”

Myles had a successful 25 year career in professional services as an equity partner in a Big 4 firm.  He has extensive leadership experience at operational and executive level, and has led scale transformation projects. During this time he built a skill-set focused on making progress and optimising outcomes; quickly clarifying motivations, obstacles and enablers to map the way forward.

He has worked with hundreds of businesses across multiple sectors, often in business-critical situations or at times of transition. This required a fast grasp of operations, priorities and personalities, and - critically - an ability to step into the challenges facing clients to work out the solution collaboratively.  As a coach, Myles always puts the client and their relationships at the heart of the dialogue, bringing his experience of navigating corporate landscapes and understanding of individuals and what makes them tick.

Myles’s style is collaborative; he is empathetic, balanced and well-rounded, bringing a natural curiosity and desire to get below the surface-level symptom to the underlying cause.  He has an ability to lower the pressure levels, which allows constructive and coherent thinking when the stakes are high.  (A little humour and an altered perspective - honed over many years watching a second-rate football team and raising three children - can go a long way.)

Myles places a strong emphasis on helping clients find clarity and alignment.   He wants individuals, teams and organisations to achieve their full potential, in a sustainable manner which will last the course.
